Kelly Sotherton was an English heptathlete. She was the bronze medallist at the 2004 Summer Olympics and was fourth at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She also was a bronze at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics, and was the heptathlon gold medallist at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
She has since 'specialised' at the 400m sprint, winning the UK Indoor title at the EIS in 2011.

Aviva Indoor Athletics UK Championships 2012
Top-class athletics returned to Sheffield for the Aviva Indoor Trials and UK Championships on 11th & 12th Feb 2012, as Britain’s best lined up at the city’s English Institute of Sport (EIS) determined to show their best in this Olympic year.
Several stadium records were beaten or equalled, along with PBs galore. Of special interest to Sheffield fans was Jessica Ennis flying to a SR of 7.95 seconds in her heat of the Women's 60m hurdles.
All pictures are available to buy as a digital version without watermarks. The file size varies from 4-11Mb, mostly around the 6Mb size. The pictures were taken on a Nikon D700 full-frame digital camera - the pictures on this site are much reduced from those that would be supplied. Pictures are priced at £25 each.
