Top-class athletics returned to Sheffield for the Aviva Indoor Trials and UK Championships on 11th & 12th Feb 2012, as Britain’s best lined up at the city’s English Institute of Sport (EIS) determined to show their best in this Olympic year.

Several stadium records were beaten or equalled, along with PBs galore. Of special interest to Sheffield fans was Jessica Ennis flying to a SR of 7.95 seconds in her heat of the Women's 60m hurdles.
