BUPA Great Yorkshire Run 2015
This year's Great Yorkshire Run took place in Sheffield on Sunday 27th September 2015.
Starting on Arundel Gate in the heart of the city, the 10k route takes you through West Bar and into Shalesmoor, carrying along Penistone Road through Owlerton, before reaching the halfway point at Hillsborough Stadium.
The final 5k takes you back along Penistone Road, past Ponds Forge and up to the finish line on Arundel Gate, where you’ll be greeted by thousands of families and spectators cheering you on.
British 10,000m track champion Jonny Mellor (29:12) regained his Men's title that he last took in 2012, while Lauren Howarth (33:49) secured victory in the Women's race on her debut at the Sheffield event.
