Women's 4x100m 9920
The GB & NI Women’s 4x100m relay team that won bronze at last August’s IAAF World Championships were presented with their medals at the Sainsbury’s Indoor Grand Prix on Saturday 15th February.
The quartet of Dina Asher-Smith, Annabelle Lewis, Ashleigh Nelson and Hayley Jones had crossed the line in fourth place but were promoted to the bronze medal position later that evening following the disqualification of the French team.
As they were unable to be presented with them at the time, the four athletes were awarded their medals in front of a sell-out crowd of 6,500 fans at the Grand Prix at Birmingham’s NIA.

Sainsbury's Indoor Grand Prix 2014
In what is widely regarded as the best indoor meet in the world, the Sainsbury's Indoor Grand Prix will welcome some of the best athletes in the world to Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena on Saturday 15 February 2014. Last year, a sell-out crowd watched double Olympic and world champion Mo Farah cruise to victory in the 3000m, while Perri Shakes-Drayton, Genzebe Dibaba, Ivan Ukhov, Holly Bleasdale and sprint queens Carmelita Jeter and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce all starred under the lights in Birmingham.
